The LILIN NVR Touch firmware 1.0.48 #2399 and above now supports a full range of 3rd party ONVIF compliant camera's, however the most common cause of this error message is the NVR Touch does not support that specific make/model of IP camera.

It is advised to perform a firmware update on the device you are connecting to the NVR and attempt to connect the device once again. If the device is a LILIN device the latest firmware can be downloaded here.
