If you are using the physical NO / NC alarm inputs on the 1080p HD PTZ domes series and not receiving any physical alarm triggers please ensure you are using the latest firmware, available here.
Once you have confirmed you are using the latest firmware, please log in to the camera and set the 'Alarm Notification' option to 'enabled' this can be found under 'PTZ' ---> 'Alarm Detection' within the camera's configuration menu.
