What is UL-2802 certification?
Underwriters Laboratories is one of the oldest global independent safety science agencies established in 1894 with more than a century of expertise.
UL launched the first digital camera performance UL-2802 standard in 2013, defining a method to assess image quality of a video camera’s rating through a series of performance-based tests. Network cameras are rated on the following parameters – Image Resolution, TV Distortion, Relative Illumination, Dynamic Range, Maximum Frame Rate, Grey Level, Sensitivity, Bad Pixel, and Veiling Glare.
