These examples can be used as a reference when configuring email notifications from the NVR. As email provider requirements can change over time, always verify the latest SMTP settings with your email provider if you experience any issues.
When configuring SMTP settings, ensure that:
- The SMTP server address is entered correctly.
- The correct port number is used.
- SSL/TLS encryption is enabled if required by the provider.
- A valid username and password are entered.
- The sender email address matches the authenticated account where required.
After entering the settings, use the Test function (if available) to confirm that the NVR can successfully send email notifications.
