Smart Search Example Video

Attached below is an example video demonstrating the Smart Search feature within the LILIN Navigator software.

The Smart Search function allows operators to analyse previously recorded video footage from a single camera channel and quickly identify motion events within a user-defined area of the image. By selecting a specific region on the screen, Navigator searches through recorded footage and logs all detected motion occurring within that area.

Rather than manually reviewing hours of recorded video, Smart Search presents the results as a series of snapshot thumbnails, allowing the operator to quickly locate and review potential events of interest. This can significantly reduce the time required to investigate incidents, particularly when the exact time of an event is unknown.

In the example video below, Smart Search is configured to detect when a person passes through the camera's field of view, indicating that someone has entered a restricted area. Each detected occurrence is recorded and displayed as a snapshot in the panel on the right-hand side of the screen. The operator can then select any of these snapshots to immediately review the associated recording and determine the exact time and details of the event.
