No Motion or Alarm status indicated on camera streams when motion or alarm is events are triggered

As default the cameras do not show motion or alarm triggers on screen, usually a red M or A.

If you want a visual indicator to appear on the video stream from the camera when a motion event or an alarm is triggered you will need to enable this in the OSD status option on the camera.

To do this, log in to your camera and navigate to the following menu:

Setup --> Advance Mode --> System --> OSD

Within the OSD menu, select the 'Status' tab. Here you can enable the alarm status to appear on your video output.
