It is not always possible to use port forward when using LTE routers. It will always be possible to configure a port forwarding rule in your local router, however this port is most likely not going to allow an incoming network request to a device. This is due to an ISP feature called CGNAT (Carrier Grade Nat).
When using LTE solutions effected by CGNAT, it is recommended to use a device that supports P2P. P2P establishes an outbound connecting, negating the requirement for port forwarding.
