If you are upgrading your LILIN Navigator software to support additional camera channels and have already received the new licence key, follow the steps below.
This guide explains how to apply the updated licence key to your existing Navigator installation, enabling the additional licensed channels without affecting your current configuration.
Before proceeding, ensure that you have the new licence key available and that you have administrator access to the Navigator software.
Once the key has been applied successfully, Navigator will recognise the increased channel capacity, allowing additional cameras to be added to the system.
Open the Navigator software and click the ? icon in the top right-hand side.
Click the Register box.
The Register screen will be shown.
It is strongly recommended to take a copy of the existing unlocking key before proceeding. Also confirm the current channels and features that the key allows.
Once you have a copy of the existing unlocking key, simply paste the new key over the existing one and click Register.
If the key is correct, you will be prompted to re-launch the software for the new key to take effect.
Once closed, re-launch the software and click the ? and register box again.
Confirm the new key has been taken by the software and the correct amount of channels and feature are now being shown.
In the example above the Navigator software has gone from a 4 channel key to a 20 channel key.
