Check if a port is open in a routers firewall

This guide outlines how to check if a port on your router is open.

To check if a port on the router is open visit:

Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router (yougetsignal.com)

The IP address of the device you are at will be displayed. If this is the address, you wish to check simply enter the port number & then press check.

You can also change the remote address (a DDND address can be used). Change the port number as desired.
