The LILIN Client software allows you to add a LILIN NVR using P2P, removing the need for port forwarding and enhancing overall device security.
Before adding the NVR to the LILIN Client, you will need its P2P Account code. This can be found by logging into the NVR and checking the bottom-left section of the main menu.
(If no QR code is visible, follow the Enabling P2P on an NVR steps on the guide here).
Once the QR code is visible, note the details shown in the P2P account section, as you will need to enter this information into the client software later.
Network --> Advanced --> P2P
When adding the NVR via P2P, you may need to enable the P2P client feature within the client software.
To do this, click the Cog icon in the top menu bar.
In the new window, ensure 'Open NVR P2P' is highlighted and click OK.
You are now able to select P2P NVR/DVR when adding a device.
Add an NVR
To add the NVR right click on Private Collections and select Add device to Private.
A new window will appear, select P2P NVR/DVR and enter the P2P account code in the IP/DNS section, then enter the username and password for the NVR.
Once you have entered the correct details, click the Connect button, a snapshot of camera 1 will be displayed.
Now click OK
You will see that the NVR has been added to Private Collections and a new view has been created.
Select the new group, and it will display the cameras from the NVR.
Right-click on the view created by the client when importing the NVR and select Modify.
Now adjust the dropdown to provide the correct amount of needed channels.
Select 2x2 to give me a 4 channel view. Once selected, click OK and the view will be automatically adjusted.
