If you are using a LILIN Edge AI camera without an NVR that natively supports the AI functions of the camera, it is still possible to utilise the camera’s AI functionality in standalone mode.
LILIN Edge AI cameras generate alarm events using metadata. Older LILIN NVRs may not support metadata-based alarms, meaning they will not log or display AI-generated alarm events. However, these NVRs can still record video streams from the camera.
It is then recommended to configure the camera so AI alarm events and snapshots alerts are sent directly by email, rather than being logged on the NVR
